Effective Communication Skill
Effective communication Skill is the key to success whether in our personal lives or our careers and communication is effective only if the receiver understands totally the message.
Effective communication skill is critical in the workplace for employee satisfaction, improving efficiency of work and increasing productivity. Without communication, there would be chaos, the company would be like a sinking ship with no direction and clear destination.
Effective communication skill can be acquired and improved over time through understanding the communication process, what is it? how it works, learn from the material that is so easily available these days, look for a mentor, or observe good communicators in action and learn from there.
Effective communication skill is how we get our message across and understood by the receiver.
The golden motto I hold close to heart is " the result I get is the communication I gave" and it has stood me well in my 20 years of being a people manager.
In holding ourselves accountable, we will take effort to make sure that the communication we gave is clear and concise so that there will be no misunderstanding or miscommunication for the receiver and at the end, we get the result we want.
